A missing person case that sparked community concern ended with relief after the Marble Falls Police Department confirmed that Miss Olivia Corbin, who disappeared on October 22, 2024, had been found safe.

Olivia Corbin was reported missing after vanishing from a Roundup Valero gas station in Marble Falls at approximately 5:16 PM while on her way home from college. Corbin was speaking with her mother at the time of her disappearance, and the conversation abruptly ended when her phone turned off. Adding to her family’s fear, her Life360 tracking app also went offline, raising suspicions of foul play.
Her family wasted no time in alerting authorities and filing a missing person report with the Marble Falls Police Department. In addition, they took to social media, sharing a missing poster of Olivia, which quickly went viral. The post described her as 5 feet 7 inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen driving a silver Lexus RX350, with Texas license plate number GWZ-9361, en route to Granbury, Texas.
The plea for help struck a chord with thousands, gaining over 3,000 shares within a short period. Many people expressed concern, urging others to be on the lookout for Olivia.
Thankfully, within an hour of the report, the Marble Falls Police Department announced that Olivia had been located and was safe at her destination. Initial fears of a potential carjacking or abduction were dispelled after a review of surveillance footage from the gas station. Authorities clarified that no one had approached Olivia, and video evidence showed her leaving the location of her own accord. Additional surveillance from nearby areas helped track her movements out of the region.
“Officers reviewed the surveillance footage and were able to confirm that Olivia left the area on her own,” a spokesperson for the Marble Falls Police Department said. “We are grateful to the community for their overwhelming support and concern.”
Community members praised law enforcement for their swift response and professionalism in resolving the case.
